<p>Gillian and John Souter live in a village in Jervis Bay and have enjoyed recreational walking for many years. As well as this book on the Illawarra they have also written three other Woodslane guides: <em>Best Walks of the Shoalhaven,</em> <em>Best Walks of the Southern Highlands</em>, and <em>Best Walks of the Red Centre</em>; plus three books on walking in Europe: <em>Classic Walks in Western Europe, Walking Italy</em> and <em>Walking France</em>. Their title <em>Slow Journeys</em> is an entertaining ramble among the pleasures and practicalities of walking.</p><br>
