Jean-Paul Delamotte enabled many well known Australian film-makers and writers have a place in France - through his translations of films like Picnic at Hanging Rock, and Frank Moorhouse's Edith Trilogy. He went to University with Jacques Chirac and Jack Lang, and his connections were pivotal to several major Australian cultural events in France. This book holds over 40 contributions about the various creative aspects of an important and selfless life devoted to Australian culture.
