<p>Author:<br /><br>Karleigh is an educator and first-time author based in Melbourne, Australia. Karleigh’s passion to be a children’s book author has grown from a young age through love of story telling and letting her imagination run wild. When Karleigh’s not letting her imagination run wild on paper, she is spending time with her partner and two dogs, and playing sport.</p><br><br><p>Illustrator:<br /><br>Aleksandra Szmidt is an award-winning children’s book illustrator who grew up in the south of Poland before journeying to the other side of the world to live in New Zealand. Adept in both digital and traditional techniques, Aleksandra works from her home studio, very near to the beach, and creates artworks for clients across the globe. Her love of drawing children, animals and landscapes takes her back to the fun and adventures of her own childhood. Aleksandra loves to add layers of magic and humour that are more imagination than reality. Her work brings her immense joy and a deep emotional connection to her art.</p><br>
