Margaret Morrison (1897–1973) served with the ATA as a medical officer during the Second World War. She was a prolific novelist and children’s author. Pamela Tulk-Hart (1918–2010) was an ATA pilot during the Second World War. Over the course of her career, she flew23 different types of aircraft and was involved in the ferrying of aircraft in preparation for the Normandy landings in 1944.
