About the Author

<p>Tony Grey AM graduated from the University of Toronto with a BA in Modern History (Hons) and a Juris Doctor. Before and during university he was a professional Shakespearian actor. Giving up theatre, he practised law with a major Toronto firm, which sent him to Australia on a legal matter, where he founded Pancontinental Mining, a publicly listed diversified mining and energy company. He is a former director of Opera Australia and the Conservatorium of Music and a former trustee of the Art Gallery of New South Wales. In time, he turned his attention to writing, producing articles for the Australian Financial Review Magazine and the Australian; he has published many books in Australia: Jabiluka, including East Wind and Seven Gateways.</p><br>
